Website development
New sites, rebuilds and refactors that load fast, rank well and are safe to run.
Software and infrastructure consultancy
Kafka.id plans, builds and runs websites, business systems and the servers under them. We start by listening to the people who will use what we make.

Start from the problem
Our website is slow.
Most slow sites carry too much: oversized images, heavy scripts, or a server far from the visitor. We measure first, cut what delays the first screen, and show you the numbers before and after.
Our cloud bill keeps growing.
Cloud bills grow from idle servers, data transfer and managed services that cost more than running your own. We trace where the money goes and move what makes sense to servers you control.
The VMware renewal hurts.
VMware's licensing changes made many renewals far more expensive. We plan the move to an open-source hypervisor, test it on copies of your machines, and switch over with a way back.
We run the business on spreadsheets.
Spreadsheets work until three people edit the same one. We turn the ones that matter into a small system with logins, history and reports, built around how your team already works.
Our app can't handle the traffic.
When traffic jumps, the database is usually the first thing to struggle. We find the slow queries, add caching where it pays and spread the load, so the site stays up on your busiest day.
We worry about attacks.
Most break-ins use old software, weak logins or open ports nobody remembers. We patch, close what isn't needed, and set up alerts and backups we test by restoring them.
We need to pick a datacenter.
Where your servers sit decides how fast your site feels and what the law asks of your data. We compare providers and regions near your users and help you choose one that fits the budget.
Services
Six services from one team. Start with the one you need now.
New sites, rebuilds and refactors that load fast, rank well and are safe to run.
ERP, analytics and internal tools built around how your team already works.
The right stack for your traffic and data: fast queries, caching and multi-tenant SaaS.
Patching, hardening, monitoring and tested backups for servers you rent or own.
We compare providers and datacenter regions around the world and help you pick the right one.
Leave AWS or Google Cloud, or move off VMware, to infrastructure you control.
Our work
We build software of our own, too. We designed these three products and run the servers under them, so the advice we give is advice we follow.

Learning platform for companies
Companies use Tivali to train their people. Teams build courses and exams, issue certificates and follow each person's progress. Its assistant, Luina, drafts courses and exams for a trainer to check and apply.

Service desk for B2B teams
Agoraboard turns customer email into tickets in one queue. Teams reply from the ticket, track SLAs, give customers a portal for their requests, and add projects or a CRM when they need them.

SSH and SFTP in the browser, in beta
GoTerm is an SSH and SFTP client that runs in the browser, with nothing to install. Hosts live in one place, shared with your team, and saved credentials stay encrypted.

Client story
Search-ready pages, a gallery and stories the team publishes itself, and the Lighthouse numbers to show for it.

We talk with the people who will use the system: owners, staff and sometimes customers. You get a written summary of what we heard.
We choose the stack and the hosting, and write down scope, timeline and cost before any code is written.
We build in small steps you can click through on a preview link, so there are no surprises at launch.
After launch we keep it patched, monitored and backed up, or hand it to your team with the documentation.
Questions
Kafka.id is a software and infrastructure consultancy. We plan, build and run websites, business systems and the servers under them, and we help companies choose hosting or leave expensive cloud setups.
No. Kafka.id is a consultancy. Apache Kafka is open-source streaming software from the Apache Software Foundation, and we have no connection to it.
Both. Some clients want a plan they can hand to their own team. Others want us to build the system and keep it running after launch. You can start with either and change later.
With a short brief on this site, then a call. We ask what you need, who will use it and what is in the way today. You get a written proposal with scope, timeline and cost before any work starts.
Yes. We start with a review of the code and the servers, tell you what we found in plain words, and then fix, refactor or rebuild, whichever costs you less over time.
Yes. We can lead the work, join your team for the hard parts, or review what your developers build. We write things down, so your team keeps the knowledge after we step back.
