Build: Business systems
Systems that fit the way your business works
In short
Kafka.id designs and builds business systems: ERP modules, analytics dashboards and internal tools. We first map how work moves through your company, then build software that follows it. A shared design system keeps every screen consistent, so new staff learn it quickly and later changes stay cheap.

Who it is for
- Companies running core work on spreadsheets, email threads and copy and paste.
- Teams whose ready-made ERP fits most of the job and fights them on the rest.
- Managers who want numbers they trust without waiting days for a report.
What we do
- 1
Map the process
We sit with the people who do the work and draw how orders, approvals, stock or cases really move. The map shows where the time and the errors go.
- 2
Design the screens
We build a small design system first: the tables, forms, buttons and states every screen shares. You click through a prototype before we write the backend.
- 3
Build and connect
We build the system in modules, connect it to the tools you keep, such as accounting, email or WhatsApp, and move your existing data across.
- 4
Measure and improve
Dashboards show the numbers your process produces, and we adjust the system as you learn from them.
What you get
- A process map your team agrees with
- A design system with documented components
- Access by role, a history of who changed what, and tested backups
- Dashboards that read the same data your staff enter
- Your data moved over from spreadsheets or the old system
Questions
Should we buy an ERP or build one?
Buy when your process is standard and the product fits it. Build, or extend, when the process is what makes you different, or when licences cost more than the work they save. Often the answer is both: keep accounting in a proven product and build the parts that are yours.
Can you connect to the software we already use?
Usually, yes. Most accounting, payment and messaging tools have an API. Where one does not, files can often be imported and exported on a schedule. We check what each tool allows before we promise a connection.
What is a design system, and why does it matter here?
It is a shared set of interface parts, like tables, forms and buttons, with rules for how they behave. In a business system with dozens of screens it means every screen works the same way, training is faster, and one change reaches every screen at once.
How do you look after our data?
Every system gets access by role, a record of who changed what, and backups we test by restoring them. The data stays in the location you choose, including servers you own.
