This notice explains what this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. The short version: no tracking cookies, no advertising trackers, and the details you send in a brief are used only to answer you.

Who we are
This website is run by Kafka.id. For anything about your data, email hello@kafka.id.
When you browse
No tracking cookies. The site's own code sets no cookies at all, and nothing on it comes from advertising companies. Cloudflare, which delivers the site, may set a short-lived security cookie to tell people from automated traffic; it does not identify you.
Your theme choice. If you switch between light and dark, your browser stores that choice on your device. It is never sent to us.
Server logs. Like any web server, ours records each request: the address it came from, the page asked for, the time, and the description your browser sends of itself. We use these logs to keep the site working and to stop abuse, and they are deleted after about two weeks.
Cloudflare. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks and speeds it up. Cloudflare handles each request on our behalf.
Visit counts. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits to each page, which sites and countries they come from, the kinds of device and browser, and how fast pages load. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, and Cloudflare says it does not use your IP address or browser details to identify you. We see only totals.
When you send a brief
The project brief asks for your name, email address and company, and optionally a phone or WhatsApp number, along with what you tell us about the project.
It also notes which page of this site you started it from and, if you came here from another site, that site's name, such as google.com. Your browser keeps that name for the visit only, and it is sent only with a brief. It shows us which pages bring people to us.
We store your brief on our own server and send a copy to our inbox through Mailgun, an email delivery service. We use it only to reply to you and to work with you. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
We keep a brief while we discuss your project and for as long as we work together. Ask us at any time and we delete it.
What you can ask
You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email hello@kafka.id and tell us which.
Changes
When this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
